Privacy Policy

ByteBrik is an AI-powered software estimation tool. You describe a software idea; we run it through an analysis pipeline and return a cost and risk estimate. We are not a social platform, an ad network, or a data broker.

When you sign in with Google we receive your name, email address, and profile photo from Google OAuth. We store these to identify your account and display them in the interface.

We store the messages you send (your software idea descriptions and follow-up clarifications) and the AI-generated estimates returned to you. These are tied to your account so you can review past evaluations.

We store your credit balance, strike count, and a log of pipeline errors (anonymised stack traces) for debugging.

• To authenticate you and maintain your session (JWT stored in an HttpOnly cookie).
• To run the estimation pipeline and return results to you.
• To track your credit and strike balance.
• To debug failures and improve reliability.

We do not use your data for advertising, we do not sell it to third parties, and we do not use your submitted ideas to train AI models. Your ideas stay yours — we will never use them to build products or businesses.

Anthropic — your message content is sent to the Anthropic API to generate estimates. Anthropic's own privacy policy governs how they handle this data. We do not send your name, email, or account details to Anthropic.

Google — authentication is handled by Google OAuth. Google's privacy policy applies to the sign-in flow.

Your account data and conversation history are retained as long as your account exists. You can request deletion at any time (see below). Error logs are automatically pruned after 30 days.

We use a single HttpOnly cookie (access_token) to keep you signed in. It is not accessible from JavaScript and is not used for tracking. We do not use third-party analytics cookies or advertising cookies.

You can request that we delete your account and all associated data at any time by contacting us. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.
